Dota 2 is an upcoming action fantasy strategy video game being developed by Valve Corporation. It is the stand-alone sequel to the popular Warcraft III custom map Defense of the Ancients. The game is comprised exclusively of session-based online multiplayer activity, with the primary objective of each match being for the teams to destroy their opposing team's fortified stronghold called an Ancient Fortress. Each player assumes the role of a "hero", who is given the responsibility of participating in team combat, which generally takes place along a series of lanes that connect their opposing bases, lined with defensive towers. The gameplay elements are largely incorporated from Defense of the Ancients, with the game's lead designer being the longest-serving and current developer of the Warcraft III mod, known as "IceFrog" Dota 2 marks Valve's first fantasy, as well as Action RTS game. The title was formally announced on October 13, 2010 via the Game Informer website.he game currently is scheduled for a full release in 2012, with a public beta scheduled for the fall of 2011.The game will be released through both retail and download by Valve's content delivery platform Steam, which the game has been developed to exclusively run on for both game launch and update delivery. Dota 2 will operate on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.Dota 2 combines the real-time strategy element of traditional top-down perspective, while also incorporating the leveling and itemization system of a role playing game. Players are pitted against each other into two distinct factions called the Radiant and the Dire. The Radiant is a light, nature-oriented faction based at the southwest corner of the map, while the Dire is a dark, volcanic-themed faction based at the northeast corner. Players assume the role of a "hero" - a strategically - powerful unit, who, through combat experience, may progress to a maximum level of 25.The basic setup of Dota 2 places two strongholds

defended by towers and waves of units which guard the main paths leading to their base with critical structures called Ancient Fortresses at opposing ends of an evenly-balanced map with multiple connecting regions identified as "lanes", in which enemy units primarily traverse, while also combating powerful defensive towers along the way. Players are split into two teams, ideally in a five-on-five format, to compete as the primary defenders for each Ancient Fortress. The currency of the game is gold, which is granted periodically, but accumulates at a practical level by defeating enemy forces. Defeating forces grants a distributed amount of gold to the offending team, with the greater portion being retained by the player who delivers the killing blow. A common technique utilized to prevent the opposing faction from accumulating gold from a kill is "denying", which constitutes destroying an allied unit or structure, which is best employed when it is close to death. Players also gain experience, which accumulates to gain higher levels. The greatest proportion of gold and experience comes from destroying higher priority forces, such as enemy heroes and towers.

Autobot Stronghold is an online game capitalizing on the hype surrounding Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen. Once again the game demonstrates just how capitalist the Autobots can be.It is also insanely addictive.it is a standard "tower defense" game; players purchase various turrets (in the form of Autobot defenders) in order to prevent increasingly challenging waves of enemies from reaching the end of the map. Defeating enemies gives the player credits (in this case the Decepticons' very sparks!) with which they can purchase new turrets or upgrade existing ones. The game has 50 waves of Decepticons, with each wave consisting of a set group of Decepticons advancing on the Autobot LG Stronghold along one of three (four if you count the flying Starscreams) set paths. Each wave is increasingly difficult, and as the game progresses multiple Decepticon types will emerge during the same waves. You can send out the next wave sooner by pressing the "Send Next Wave" button, though this needs time to refresh after each push.

Call of Duty has become the biggest franchise in gaming history, and with success comes sequels. The huge success Call of Duty has seen has Activision keeping them coming at a rate of a new game a year. This time around they’re taking a different aproach. Due to legal complications, Modern Warfare 3′s single player will be developed by the game’s primary developer, Infinity Ward, alongside with Sledgehammer games. The games multiplayer aspect, which is the highest selling point in the Call of Duty franchise, will be developed by Raven Software. It will be interesting to see where these new developers take the franchise.Rumors made it’s way around that the game is expected to release on November 11, 2011. Releasing the game on 11/11/11 would allow Activision to have a financial advantage with the game, giving it a weekend release, placing it before the Christmas holidays as well as Black Friday. However, official announcements have no confirmed an MW3 release date of the 8th of November 2011.It shows a variety of changes and improvements from the game's predecessor's Spec Ops mode.

The Game Boy Advance is a 32-bit handheld video game console developed, manufactured, and marketed by Nintendo. It is the successor to the Game Boy Color. It was released in Japan on March 21, 2001; in North America on June 11, 2001; in Australia and Europe on June 22, 2001; and in the People's Republic of China on June 8, 2004.

In 1996, Nintendo released the Game Boy Pocket: a smaller, lighter unit that requires fewer batteries. It has space for two AAA batteries, which provide about 10 hours of game play. The Game Boy Pocket has no backlight to allow play in a darkened area. The first version did not have an LED to show battery levels. This was soon added due to public demand, along with new Game Boy Pocket units of different colors, some of them new to the Game Boy line. There were several limited-edition Game Boy Pockets including a metallic Ice Blue unit and a pink model exclusive to Japan. The Game Boy Pocket was not a new software platform and played the same software as the original Game Boy model. The Pocket has a smaller link port, which requires an adapter to link with the older Game Boy.The port design is used on all subsequent Game Boy models, excluding the Game Boy Micro.

Game Boy is an 8-bit handheld video game device developed and manufactured by Nintendo. It was released in Japan on April 21, 1989, in North America in August 1989, and in Europe on September 28, 1990. It is the first handheld console in the Game Boy line, and was created by Gunpei Yokoi and Nintendo Research & Development. The Game Boy is Nintendo's second handheld system following the GameWatch series introduced in 1980, and it combined features from both the Nintendo Entertainment System and Game & Watch. It was originally bundled with the tetris game. The Game Boy and Game Boy Color combined have sold 118.69 million units worldwide. The Game Boy has five operation buttons labeled "A", "B", "SELECT", and "START", as well as a directional pad. There is a volume control dial on the right side of the console and a similar knob on the left side to adjust the contrast. At the top of the Game Boy, a sliding on-off switch and the slot for the Game Boy cartridges are located.

Nintendo recommends users to leave a cartridge in the slot to prevent dust and dirt from entering the system. The Game Boy also contains optional input and/or output connectors. On the left side of the system is an external power supply jack that allows users to use an external rechargeable battery pack or AC adapter (sold separately) instead of four AA batteries. The Game Boy requires 6 V DC of at least 150 mA. A 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack is located on the bottom side of the console which allows users to listen to the audio with headphones or speakers. On the right side is a port that allows a user to connect to another Game Boy system via a link cable, provided both users are playing the same game. The port can also be used to connect a Game Boy Printer. The link cable was originally designed for players to play head-to-head two-player games such as in Tetris. However, game developer Satoshi Tajiri would later use the link cable technology as a method of communication and networking in the popular Pokémon video game series

The Game Boy Printer,is a thermal printer accessory released by Nintendo in 1998. Nintendo ceased manufacture in 2003.The Game Boy Printer is compatible with the Game Boy DMG, Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance systems and is designed to be used in conjunction with the Game Boy Camera. It also prints images from compatible late-generation Game Boy and Game Boy Color games (listed below). It runs on six AA batteries and uses a special 3.8 cm wide thermal paper with adhesive backing called Game Boy Printer Paper. One package of printer paper came with three rolls, including one roll of white paper, one roll of pale yellow paper, and one roll of pale blue paper. In Japan, a bright yellow Pokémon version of the Game Boy Printer was released which featured a Poké Ball-style feed button.A typical roll had 390–400 cm of length.A roll of the American Game Boy Printer paper came in red, blue, yellow and white, and had a width of 3.8 cm.When a picture printed from the Game Boy Camera, it would print with a .5 cm margin above and below the picture and print the picture at a 2.3 cm height. This would give the total of 3.3 cm height per picture. The Game Boy Printer paper refills boasted up to 180 pictures per roll. With the math the typical roll could only take 118 pictures. The paper is now hard to find

Game Boy Color is Nintendo successor to the 8-bit Game Boy handheld game console, and was released on October 21, 1998 in Japan, November 19, 1998 in North America, November 23, 1998 in Europe and November 27, 1998 in the United Kingdom. It features a color screen and is slightly thicker and taller than the Game Boy Pocket. As with the original Game Boy, it has an 8-bit processor.he Game Boy and Game Boy Color combined have sold 118.69 million units worldwide. The Game Boy Color was a response to pressure from game developers for a new and much more sophisticated system of playing, as they felt that the Game Boy, even in its latest incarnation, the Game Boy Pocket, was insufficient. The resultant product was backward compatible, a first for a handheld system, and leveraged the large library of games and great installed base of the predecessor system. This became a major feature of the Game Boy line, since it allowed each new launch to begin with a significantly larger library than any of its competitors.Games that are designed specifically for the Game Boy Color are housed in clear-colored cartridges, and will not function in an earlier Game Boy or the Super Game Boy (or will simply display a warning message and refuse to play). Games that are designed for the Game Boy Color, but which also include backwards-compatibility with the previous Game Boy systems, have a similar design to the original grey Game Boy cartridges, but are colored black for identification. The European and American releases of Pokémon Yellow and Pokémon Gold and Silver feature different-colored cartridges, although they are technically identical to the standard black ones. Game Boy Color Cartridges will function correctly when used in a Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Advance SP system. No cartridges made for any system earlier than a Game Boy Advance will function in the Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite, and nothing earlier than a DS card will function in a Nintendo DSi or 3DS.

    PS VISTA RELEASE

Although Sony has yet to pin down a release date for the Sony PlayStation Vita, an alleged ad from Blockbuster UK seems to indicate an October worldwide launch.According to IGN PSP, an ad from Blockbuster UK has revealed that the Sony PlayStation Vita will be launching on October 28.Whether it's just a European release date or the official worldwide launch is yet to be determined, as is the authenticity of the flier. For those counting, an October 28th launch would put the PS Vista in stores the same week as many console bound heavy hitters as Rage, Dark Souls, Twisted Metal, Forza Motorsport 4, Batman Arkham City, and Battlefield 3.Another opinion from amazon.com says, play station vita Will be released on December 31, 2011.but now Amazon has started selling these devices.
